What is the barn’s Health Program?

  • Shamrock Grove Arabians requires a 2 part health check before any new horse is introduced to the farm. Our health check includes:
    • Coggins Test
    • Vaccines- tetanus, west nile, flu/rhino, strangles

What is the barn’s deworming policy?

  • Deworming is the responsibility of the owner. We’ll always give advise if needed!

What are the focused disciplines of the barn?

  • Western Pleasure
  • Hunter Pleasure (Lessons available)
  • English Pleasure
  • All pleasure type riding is allowed

Is there a veterinarian for the barn?

  • Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic
  • Emergency Services through Wilhite and Frees or MU Veterinary Hospital

Does the barn trailer my horse in an emergency?

  • Absolutely!

Is there a trainer at the Barn?

  • Yes, Brenna, the barn manager, also teaches beginner and intermediate hunter pleasure lessons.

  • Hours are 9:00am-8:00pm

What is the turn out policy?

  • We provide daily group turnout, weather permitting
